We check the overall condition of the console, including the screen, buttons, Joy-Con controllers, battery performance, charging capability, and any visible damage. A clean, well-maintained Nintendo Switch will generally receive a stronger evaluation than one with significant wear or missing components.

Accessories can also make a difference. Original chargers, docks, Joy-Con controllers, carrying cases, and other accessories may help support a higher loan value.

Current resale demand is another important factor. As newer gaming systems are released, values can change. That’s why every Nintendo Switch is evaluated individually rather than using a fixed price guide.

Before Bringing in Your Nintendo Switch

A few simple steps can make the process smoother.

We recommend backing up any save data you want to keep and removing personal account information from the console before bringing it in. If you’re not sure how to do that, our staff can point you in the right direction.

It’s also helpful to bring any accessories that came with the Nintendo Switch, including:

  • Charging cables
  • Docking station
  • Joy-Con controllers
  • Carrying cases
  • Original packaging if available

While accessories aren’t required, they can help strengthen the overall evaluation.

Once we complete the evaluation and you’re comfortable with the offer, we’ll explain the loan terms and answer any questions you have.

Your Nintendo Switch remains securely stored while the loan is active. When the loan is repaid, your console is returned to you.

Loan terms run on a 90-day schedule with monthly payments. Each payment covers the interest due for that period, and you’re always welcome to pay additional principal if you’d like to reduce the balance faster.

There is no penalty for paying a loan off early. Because interest is calculated in tiers depending on where you are in the loan term, paying off early can reduce the total amount owed.

Life happens, and we understand that. If a month comes along where making the full payment isn’t possible, paying the interest due keeps the loan in good standing and allows it to continue without interruption.

Should You Pawn or Sell Your Nintendo Switch?

That depends on your goals.
