Collector Car Title Loan in Mesa, Arizona

Collector Car Title Loan

If you’ve got a classic car sitting in your garage, you already know it’s worth something. Whether it’s a restored Mustang, a vintage Chevy truck, or something a little more exotic, that vehicle has real value — and at Alma School Pawn & Gold, we can help you put it to work when you need cash.

We’ve been serving Mesa and the surrounding area since 2008, and we offer collector car title loans for customers who want a practical, no-hassle way to borrow against their classic vehicle without giving it up.

What Is a Collector Car Title Loan?

A collector car title loan works like a standard auto title loan, but it’s designed specifically for classic, vintage, and specialty vehicles that carry collector value beyond their typical market price.

You bring your vehicle in for an evaluation, we assess its condition and value, and based on that we put together a loan offer. If you agree to the terms, you walk out with cash — usually the same day — and in most cases you get to keep driving your car while the loan is active.

It’s a straightforward process, and we’ve done it enough times to make it smooth for you.

How the Process Works

  1. Bring your vehicle to our Mesa location for an in-person evaluation
  2. Our team assesses the car — condition, documentation, mileage, originality, and current collector market value all factor in
  3. We put together a loan offer based on that assessment
  4. You review and agree to the terms — no pressure, no rush
  5. You receive your cash and in most cases continue driving your vehicle

All of our title loans are arranged through our lending partner, Phoenix Title Loans, LLC, which handles the loan paperwork and terms.

Do You Keep the Car?

In most cases, yes. One of the main benefits of a collector car title loan is that you can continue driving your vehicle while the loan is active. You keep the keys, keep using the car, and pay down the loan on your agreed schedule.

If you choose to store the vehicle with us during the loan period, that’s an option too — and it typically comes with a lower rate since it reduces the lender’s risk. But for most customers, keeping the car is the practical choice, and we’re set up to accommodate that.

What Vehicles Qualify?

We evaluate a wide range of classic and specialty vehicles, including:Story pin image

  • American muscle cars from the 1960s and 70s — Mustangs, Camaros, Chevelles, GTOs
  • Classic trucks and restored pickups
  • Vintage Corvettes and other American classics
  • European makes like older Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Porsche models
  • Motorcycles

If you’re not sure whether your vehicle qualifies, just give us a call or bring it in. We’d rather take a look than have you guess.

Documentation helps. If you have original titles, service records, restoration receipts, or provenance history, bring those along — they can support a stronger loan offer.

Loan Terms

Under the standard loan structure, you’ll have 90 days to satisfy the loan. If you’re ever in a month where the full payment isn’t possible, you can keep the loan in good standing by paying the interest portion — the loan simply carries over. There are no prepayment penalties, and you can pay it off early without any extra fees.

Alma School Pawn was established in 2008, and over the years we’ve worked with a lot of Mesa residents on loans just like this. We try to keep the process simple and the terms clear so there are no surprises.

How Does This Compare to Other Options?

Loan Type Credit Check Same Day Funding Keep Your Asset Loan Amount
Collector Car Title Loan No Yes Yes Based on vehicle value
Bank Loan Yes No (3–10 days) Yes Based on credit/income
Personal Loan Yes Sometimes N/A Typically up to $50,000
Credit Card Advance Yes Yes N/A Limited to available credit
Payday Loan No Yes N/A Usually under $1,000

For customers who have equity tied up in a classic vehicle and need cash without a credit check or long approval process, a title loan is often the most practical path.

Common QuestionsThis may contain: a red car parked on the side of a road next to trees and palm trees

Can I get a loan on more than one vehicle? Yes. If you have multiple collector vehicles and need to raise a larger amount, we can evaluate your collection and structure a loan accordingly.

What if my car is mid-restoration? We can still take a look. Depending on the stage of restoration and the documentation you have, there may still be loan value there. It’s worth an in-person evaluation.

Do I need good credit? No credit check is required for a title loan. The loan is based on the value of your vehicle, not your credit history.

What if I can’t make a payment? As long as you cover the interest portion of the payment, the loan stays in good standing and carries over. We’d rather work with you than create a problem.
