Pawn Craftsman Power Tools in Mesa, Arizona
Craftsman has been a fixture in American garages for nearly a hundred years. Originally a Sears house brand, it’s now owned by Stanley Black & Decker and sold through retailers like Lowe’s and Ace Hardware. Most people who’ve owned a home have owned at least one Craftsman tool — and a lot of folks in the East Valley have a whole collection of them.
Their lineup covers a wide range of power tools, including drills, circular saws, jigsaws, reciprocating saws, sanders, rotary tools, and the V20 cordless system that runs across a broad family of compatible tools. They also make outdoor equipment — mowers, trimmers, blowers, and pressure washers — along with hand tools and mechanics sets that have been staples in home garages and job sites for decades.
If you’ve got Craftsman tools sitting in the garage and you could use some extra cash, bring them into Alma School Pawn. We’ve been serving Mesa and the surrounding East Valley since 2008, and we work with power tools on a regular basis.
What to Expect When You Bring In Your Craftsman Tools
When you come in, we’ll do a hands-on evaluation of what you’ve brought. We’ll check the condition, confirm everything powers up and functions properly, and take stock of what you have — whether it’s a single drill or a full set. A phone call can give you a rough sense of what to expect beforehand, but the most accurate evaluation always comes from an in-store visit.
Once we’ve taken a look, we’ll make you an offer. If it works for you, we put together a pawn loan agreement and you walk out with cash. Your tools stay with us as collateral while the loan is active. When you’ve paid it off, everything comes back to you — that’s how a pawn loan works. You hold up your end of the agreement and your tools are waiting for you.
Loan Terms
Pawn loans at Alma School Pawn run on a 90-day schedule with monthly payments. Each payment covers the interest due for that period, and you’re always welcome to put more toward the principal if you want to pay it down faster. Pay it off early and there’s no penalty.
Interest is calculated in tiers depending on where you are in the loan term, and paying off early can reduce what you owe overall. Because every loan varies based on the items and the amount borrowed, the clearest way to understand what applies to your situation is to give us a call or stop by — we’re happy to walk through it with you.
Life happens, and we get that. If a month comes where covering the full payment isn’t possible, just take care of the interest and the loan stays in good standing. It carries over without issue and we move forward from there.
We Also Buy Craftsman Tools Outright
Not looking for a loan? We buy Craftsman power tools outright as well. Same process — bring them in, we take a look, and if the offer makes sense for you, you walk out with cash the same day.
Other Brands Are Welcome Too
Craftsman is one of many brands we work with. If you’ve got tools from DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, or other name-brand manufacturers, bring those in as well. We evaluate everything individually based on actual condition and current market value.
Power tools aren’t the only thing we work with either. If you’ve got diamond jewelry, precious metals, electronics, or other valuables, those are all worth a conversation too.
